MINNIE & TIFFANY ARE SISTERS who grew up in Lowell. They are delighted to own their own home after moving multiple times over the years in rented apartments. They purchased a beautiful 4 bedroom home in South Lowell for themselves, their mother and brother. They were fortunate to find a home which had been loved and well taken care of from a family who had lived in it for 32 years. Their new home is now the gathering place for their extended family.

Minnie and Tiffany attribute their success to the excellent team they had. On top of the list is Eric Ponn, their “golden apple”. Eric is a realtor with Coco Early & Associates who worked with them every step of the way. “Eric was awesome, just amazing.” He explained everything and prepared them for the bumps they would encounter. The also had high compliments for Alex Lampropoulos of Ross Mortgage Company who helped them in their mortgage application process.

They found the home buyer training class to be exceptionally helpful. They made a special note of how valuable the individual counseling was that they received from Ed Alcantara of our staff. Ed was honest and direct and told them exactly what they needed to do to qualify. Their advice to others is “Even if you think you’re not ready, take the class to get on the right track.” They suggested that we invite home buyers to come back to the classes to share their experiences.

The Lowell Development & Financial Corporation provided down payment assistance which greatly helped them. They are thrilled to be in their new home. We are thrilled for them.
