Merrimack Valley Housing Partnership is the lottery agent for the new development, Acre Crossing Residences. On this page, you’ll find all things related to Acre Crossing. We’ll include project updates, photos, and more as we work together with the developer, the City, and the State.

What is Acre Crossing Residences?

This new development at 650 Merrimack Street, Lowell, MA, will consist of 32 new construction condominium homes comprising twenty-four two-bedroom and eight three-bedroom units. The 32 homes will be available for sale to first-time home buyers earning at/ or below 100% Area Median Income (AMI). The residences at Acre Crossing are part of a larger multi-use development.

When will they be available?

The construction of the affordable housing development is on track to finish by mid-2024.

To provide the community with all the necessary details, MVHP has organized informative sessions covering various aspects of the application and lottery process. These sessions will not only address important deadlines and eligibility criteria but also provide insights into other relevant information. Potential applicants will have the opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the project and have their questions answered during these sessions.

The aim is to ensure transparency and accessibility for individuals interested in participating in this affordable housing initiative. By hosting these sessions, MVHP seeks to empower and inform prospective applicants, creating a fair and inclusive process for all.

Please note that all applications must be delivered or postmarked by March 12, 2024. Unfortunately, late applications will not be accepted under any circumstances.

***To be considered for the lottery, you must submit a completed application, a HUD-accredited certificate for first-time homebuyers, and a pre-approval letter from a lender. To ensure your entry to the lottery, you will receive an application confirmation.
